We believe that children need to be taught the great truths of Scripture from an early age. Therefore, our children’s ministry is not designed merely to entertain children or to keep them out of trouble. Rather, we want them to understand who God is, believe on him for salvation, and begin following him. Because these priorities are so important, we have assembled a team of experienced children’s teachers who work hard to communicate the great truths of Scripture in an age-appropriate, engaging manner.
At 9 a.m. on Sunday mornings, we offer Sunday school classes for K-5 through 6th grade children. During the morning service, we offer a class for children 3–5 years old and another class for children in 1st–6th grade. Children in the older class begin in the auditorium and participate in the music portion of the service. They are dismissed to children’s church just before the sermon. You are also welcome to keep elementary-age children with you during the entire service.
On Wednesday evenings during the school year, we offer the Awana program from 6:30–8:00 pm. Awana is an exciting, multi-faceted Bible club that encourages K-3 through 6th grade children to grow spiritually through Scripture memory and Bible knowledge, along with fun activities and games.
